Maléka Ingram, Graduate Fellow

Maléka Ingram joined CCTS in August 2007. She is a student in the School of Information Arts and Technologies' Doctorate of Communications Design program. Her research focus is on how grassroots and community based organizations use information and communication technology to do their work.

Before coming to UB, Maléka spent 10 years in Portland, Oregon. During this time she worked as an instructional designer for Intel Corporation, she served as a media volunteer for Sisters in Action for Power, and she co-founded a grassroots organization focused on the visibility, voices and experiences of lesbian and bi-sexual women of color.
