CCTS and IBM are again partnering to recognize small- to medium-sized Baltimore area nonprofits that build 21st century skills in youth through innovative technology programs. You can win technology equipment and consulting worth up the $10,000.

This Year’s Awards

First Prize

  • 1 Lenovo ThinkPad laptop computer
  • 1 Lexmark monochrome laser printer
  • Three hours of technology planning services from CCTS

Second Prize

  • 1 Lenovo ThinkCenter desktop computers
  • 3 Lenovo ThinkPad laptop computers
  • Two hours of technology planning services from CCTS

Eligibility

Baltimore-area small- to mid-sized organizations with specific objectives for using technology innovatively for youth development are eligible for this award. Organizations must demonstrate:

  • A clear mission
  • A history of serving youth
  • Examples of past accomplishments—especially those that required creative problem-solving
  • Measurable programmatic goals and strategies for engaging youth with technology
  • A strategy for sustaining technology improvements
  • A 501(c)3 designation

Instructions for Applying

To apply, please submit the following:

  1. Completed application form
  2. Proof of nonprofit status
  3. A letter of support from a board member

Return completed application, proof of 501(c)3 status, and recommendations to CCTS by June 13, 2008.
