Students & Faculty

Graduate and undergraduate students bring knowledge and skills, a thirst for problem-solving, creativity and enthusiasm-all qualities highly valued at CCTS. Here, students can find real-world applications for their classroom learning. And through students, our clients can make use of the technology advances and management techniques taught in the top schools in the area. Examples of student participation in projects include:

• Dynamic database development
• Website design
• Usability and user-interface design
• Project management
• Business process analysis
• Technical writing
• Facilitation and training

We match student’s interests and abilities to our existing projects and we support students who bring their own projects ideas. Most of the work is compensated with stipends. You can read about students who have worked or are currently working with CCTS. We are always looking for people who:

• Have an interest in helping the Baltimore region by strengthening its nonprofit sector through technology
• We can match with a project that relates to their course of study or use skills they’ve gained in past experieces
• Are pursuing a graduate-level degree
• Are looking for a place to do an independent study or for part-time employment
• Can collaborate and work as part of a team
• Have flexibility to wrap-up a project with the client at the semester’s end
• Can provide two recommendations; one academic and one personal
